Metal Purlin Solar Fixing – box section roof fixing
Metal purlin solar roof fixing for attaching solar panel mounting rails to box-section metal roofs. The fixing uses 205mm self-cutting screws with EPDM sealing washers and works with the required top plates, rails, T-bolt and nut sets and panel clamps to complete the solar mounting system.
This product offers rail fixings for metal purlin solar fixing roof coverings that are attached onto box section roofs. The rail fixing will require further fixing brackets, as this system allows assembles onto metal roofs. These 205mm long self cutting screws are easily fixed onto the metal roof.
What is needed to complete on roof kit:
Top plate
Rail
T bolt and nut set
Mid clamps
End clamps
Where the Z purlins are set a distance apart, it is possible to utilize our cross rail connectors. By using these it is possible to have rails running vertically and horizontally to provide a stronger platform to mount solar panels.
No need to drill into the steel girder. The screws are self taping c/w epdm sealing washer.
